Technical audit

Web Application Audit — Technical analysis and action plan

Get a clear picture of your application's technical issues and a prioritized action plan to address them.

Your application has issues you don't know how to prioritize

Your application works, but you're experiencing slowdowns, recurring bugs, growing technical debt or difficulty evolving the code. You don't have the visibility to know what to fix first or which parts of the code represent real risks. A technical audit provides an objective, measured and prioritized diagnosis. It turns impressions into documented findings, with costed recommendations.

Scope examples

Complete audit

In-depth analysis of code, architecture, performance and security. Detailed report with action plan.

Targeted audit

Focus on a specific aspect: performance, security, technical debt or module maintainability.

Pre-redesign audit

Complete diagnosis to assess whether a redesign is necessary, whether progressive modernization suffices, or whether a rewrite is justified.

Work method

The audit takes place over 1 to 2 weeks. I start by accessing the source code and application environments. I produce a structured report with objective findings, measurements and prioritized recommendations. A restitution meeting clarifies key points and defines next steps.

Pricing

€1,350

Fixed fee

The audit is billed in one go. The delivered report can serve as the basis for a modernization or redesign engagement.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an audit take?

Between 1 and 2 weeks depending on application size and analysis depth. The scope is defined before starting.

Do I need to provide access to the source code?

Yes. Code analysis is at the heart of the audit. I can also work from documentation if code access isn't possible, but the analysis will be less precise.

Does the audit cover security?

Yes, security is part of the analysis. I check obsolete dependencies, known vulnerabilities and authentication and authorization practices.

What happens after the audit?

The report and action plan allow you to launch corrections internally or entrust me with modernization sprints. I can also ensure regular follow-up.

Audit my application

Describe your application, its known issues and your objective. I'll propose a first exchange to frame the audit.
